South Australian defence industry will have the opportunity to showcase its capabilities at several key defence and space exhibitions and events planned for the year ahead.

G’Day USA US-Australia Dialogue on Defence Industries – April 2020

The seventh annual G’Day USA Dialogue on Defence Industries, held on 9 April, will be delivered in partnership with Team Defence Australia. The day-long event will bring together US and Australian industry experts who will explore future projects, mutual investment and advanced manufacturing capabilities. The event will feature keynote addresses by senior Australian and US representatives, as well as expert panel discussions and a networking lunch. The event will attract attendees from defence industry, policy makers, academics, investors, economists and national security experts. Undersea Defence Technology – Netherlands – May 2020 

South Australia’s emerging submarine technology will be showcased on the global stage at the world’s largest underwater defence industry event, the Undersea Defence Technology Forum 2020, held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from 26-28 May. The three-day exhibition and conference attracts more than 1,500 visitors from 36 unique nations and is globally recognised as the primary meeting place for members of the undersea defence community.

Eurosatory – France – June 2020

International land and airland defence and security exhibition Eurosatory, will be held in Paris, from 8-12 June 2020. Around 57,000 visitors, including 1,800 exhibitors, are expected to attend the event, which will highlight the latest technology, equipment and systems.

Land Forces – Brisbane, QLD – September 2020 

The nation’s largest land defence exhibition, Land Forces, will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, from 1-3 September 2020. The international industry exhibition, which is expected to attract industry leaders from around the globe, will showcase the latest equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia, Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.

It will be an ideal opportunity to promote South Australia’s capabilities in land defence, as well as maritime, aerospace and cyber systems, to major industry suppliers and key government and military decision-makers. To register your interest, click here.

71st International Astronautical Congress – UAE – October 2020

The world’s largest space conference, the International Astronautical Congress, will be held in Dubai, from 12-16 October 2020. The Congress will bring together more than 6,000 key space players, including scientists, researchers, engineers, agencies, businesses, students and astronauts, to collaborate on opportunities throughout the booming international space sector.

Euronaval – France – October 2020

South Australia’s defence industry will have a significant presence at Euronaval – one of the world’s leading international trade shows for maritime security, safety and naval defence, from 20-23 October 2020. Held in Paris every two years, the trade fair welcomes more than 25,000 visitors, including high-level delegations, along with key industry, government and military leaders.

Over 480 exhibitors will present the latest technologies, innovations and emerging trends in the naval and maritime sectors.
